TEACH YOUR BABY
THE ENJOYMENT OF WATER

We play games and sing songs which are skill related for water confidence and safety as well as being rewarding and fun for both of you.

The water temperature is kept warm and is at least 30°C to enhance you and your baby's water experience.

Classes are held at:

• John Jamieson School in Oakwood, Leeds on Fridays, with an extra-warm pool at 35°C
• Penny Fields School, Meanwood, Leeds on Friday afternoons
• The Forum, Quarry Hill, Leeds on Saturday afternoons
• Pocklington School, Pocklington on Saturdays
• Archbishop Holgate School, York on Fridays

If these days or times are not convenient for you, please let us know as we are looking to expand in the near future.

Baby Swimmers uses Starfish, the official water safety programme for babies through the STA. There are 6 awards throughout the series with the aim of concentrating on one Starfish award per ten-week block, after which you will receive a certificate and badge upon completion. It should therefore take a year to achieve all six, and then your babies/toddlers can move on to a more advanced award programme.

Once your baby has completed ten sessions, you will have the opportunity to have your baby photographed swimming underwater, and what a delightful keepsake!

Each session lasts 30 minutes and can be booked in ten-week blocks at a cost of £85.00 (£8.50 per class), for babies and £72.50 (£7.25 per class) for over 2's, payable in advance.
